But if you came for things farther than walking, the main East-West highway is five minutes drive, and Red Rocks and the Mountains are at your fingertips. This location is ideal to stay "in the city" and have close, easy access to Denver International Airport. Upon arrival you'll appreciate ample parking around my property. It has a pillow-top mattress, and always freshly washed linens. It's decorated by my brother Joe with art he makes and sells. You'll find lots of flat surfaces and a large closet to unpack your things, and a desk to work at. The kitchen has every basic you'll need to cook very well. Breathe in the air at altitude. You'll sleep like royalty on Poplar Street and awake refreshed to do what you came to do! If marijuana is a big or small part of what you came to do, head to the fenced backyard. I've got a table and chairs set up. The 6ft fence provides privacy. It is important to note that this is a home of tolerance and respect. Black, Latino, Asian, X-Men and every type of person is welcome here. Same goes for the L's, the G's, the B's, the T's, and the Q's. But no A's. I try not to serve the Assholes! Hey! Want to save this property for later? Go ahead and and click the ❤ icon on the top-right corner of your page. Guests will get a keypad combination to access the front door. The keypad information will be sent shortly in advance of check-in This is a one bedroom 29+ day unit. In addition, ON THIS SAME PROPERTY is a short term rental unit, and the homeowner's basement unit. You WILL SHARE one wall and the backyard with the other AirBnB unit and me, the host. Guests will check themselves into the property without needing to meet me or anybody else at the door. I am frequently on the property and happy to say hello. I also spend a significant amount of time away from Denver. In that case, it's all yours! I bought the home in June 2018, and have really come to love the neighborhood. The house sits on the border between the traditional Park Hill neighborhood and a much newer one, Stapleton. This gives the advantage of staying in a well lived in and loved neighborhood with very easy access to lots of amenities. One block walking away is a shopping center which has a large grocery store, three different types of fitness facilities and lots of restaurants. So far, I'm loving lunches at Chipotle, yoga at Core Power and happy hours at Casey's Irish bar. There are quite a few other centers within a very close radius for all your shopping/dining/drinking needs. Whether its a fancy date night or trying to eat on the cheap, you're in a good place. Dog owners can walk to one great dog park and have easy drives to several others. Lots of urban walking/biking/jogging paths you can walk directly to. Every type of fitness facility is represented in close proximity. As for marijuana dispensaries, You're sandwiched in a great area. Five minutes north is the I-70 corridor where a lot of industrial space was converted to marijuana grows or shops. Five minutes to the south is E. Colfax Ave, an iconic street in Denver known for its funky stores and restaurants and now for lots of weed stores. The deals change all the time, so I don't have one I love. It might be fun to try a few! Guests who have their own wheels really get a chance to see the most. Those who use UBER and LYFT have wonderful convenience at their fingertips. And those who prefer to stay in, or use public transportation have this great place to call headquarters and can bring the world to themselves. There is a direct to downtown bus line around the corner, and a Hertz Rental Car agency within very easy walking distance. Public transportation is plentiful and easy. To get Downtown, just walk around the corner and take the #28 bus. It comes every half an hour, but stops pretty early in the evening. Coming from the airport with a group, your best bet is to take an UBER or LYFT to the house. Please share in your inquiry some details about what you are doing in Denver. Just a few sentences, but the better you are able to put together your request, the more likely we are to make a reservation. Please note that this house is divided into three units. Though guests in the adjacent unit are asked to be respectful and mindful of noise, THERE IS A SHARED WALL. This house has been pet and marijuana friendly. Somebody with extreme allergies or sensitivities to smoke or pets might be better at another location. I ask smoking to be done outside. I no longer accept pets into this side of the home.

May 2025 5.00This home was adorable! It was in a super cute neighborhood and was well decorated with everything you could need. There is a unit in the back and one in the basement where other people live in, but you couldn’t even tell they were there and it felt completely private. There’s a plaza within walking distance across the street that has a bunch of food options which is super convenient. The hosts are super kind and accommodating. Overall, highly recommend!

May 2025 5.00The house was cozy, cute, clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable, like a good TV, and big kitchen. The bed was comfy and the morning light was nice and soft in the front bedroom. The neighborhood is so cute, and in a fantastic location near restaurants, highways, dispensaries, and most of the places we wanted to explore! We absolutely loved the Kent Monkman exhibit at the art museum, Milk bar's maze of rooms, Four Friends takeout, Anthony's pizza and pasta, and the botanic garden was incredible.

May 2025 5.00Very responsive hosts as I booked their place just a handful of hours before needing to arrive. They even accommodated early check-in on top of that, which was super helpful. Would certainly stay here again and was a great value.

May 2025 5.00We had a fantastic stay! Charley and Mari were proactive about communicating with us from the day we reserved the space to the end of our stay. The space was clean, spacious, and comfortable; just as the listing described. We hope to stay again next time we’re in town!
